Message from the Chair
As we greet 2010, I’ve given some thought to about the past year and the challenges we faced as individuals, in our organizations, and as a country.
The people who uphold the values of ASQ are well equipped to deal with adversity when it comes, and to capitalize on opportunities when they appear. It is a pleasure to be part of ASQ and I appreciate your support of our Section.
I hope to see you at the meetings in the New Year. On January 21st, our meeting presentation is titled “Time to Move Forward in Continual Improvement Efforts”, presented by Tami Damian – President of Leadership Education And Development.
The February meeting held at Fiserv Corporation in Lincoln. Mr. Bob Michaud, Chief of Quality & Standards Audit, will discuss Fiserv’s software quality initiatives. Fiserv is the industry leader in providing integrated technology and service solutions to the financial industry.
In March, we will visit with the ASQ Midlands Subsection – which means a field trip to the York area of Nebraska! Stay tuned for further details on the March meeting.
I invite each of you to attend the meetings, and to get to know your fellow quality professionals. Also, please consider the possibility of serving on the board. There are many roles to play in making our section a success and promoting the message of ASQ. I appreciate your consideration of this opportunities.
