Quality Inspection Techinican

Metalworks is looking to hire an individual with a passion for quality and customer service. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for conducting testing and inspection procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with internal and external quality standards. You will also participate in identifying and implementing continuous quality improvement.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete PPAP inspection and documentation
  • New part inspection through the mfg process
  • 5 why 3 way participant
  • Audit implementation of changes from 5W3W
  • Utilize Faro Arm for certain applications


Required Skills

  • Proficient with common measuring equipment
  • Ability to interpret measurement requirements on drawings
  • Competent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum education – high school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a QC technician in a production environment
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred
  • English verbal and written communication required
  • Experience using Excel as a database and reporting tool
  • Ability to lift 15-35 lbs. may be required

Quality Engineer

Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer develops and maintains quality plans and standards for assigned manufacturing processes.  Ensures that processes and products conform to established company, customer, and regulatory requirements.  Supports other Quality related activities such as calibration, measurement systems analysis, supplier development, incoming inspection, corrective action, and continuous improvement.



  • Leads development of FMEAs and control plans, and maintains the resulting protocols for processing materials into finished products
  • Develops standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of both manufactured and purchased products
  • Creates supporting procedures, work instructions, and limit samples.
  • Functions as a voice of the customer regarding quality issues and represents the company to the customer
  • Leads corrective action activities and facilitates cross-functional teams in application of the 8D methodology
  • Analyzes returned product and submits reports to customers
  • Troubleshoots non-conforming product and/or components, and initiates proper disposition
  • Analyzes scrap and rework data for significant issues
  • Initiates quality improvements to reduce costs and increase performance
  • Supports the execution and maintenance of an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
  • Assists with internal, supplier, and third-party quality audits as needed.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or 3+ years’ relevant experience, including internships/co-ops
  • Quality experience in manufacturing/assembly
  • Data Center experience a plus
  • ASQ CQE preferred
  • Six Sigma and Lean certification or experience a plus
  • Experience in developing FMEAs and control plans
  • Excellent problem solver; experience with 8D methodology and supporting toolsKnowledge of ISO 9001 or related quality standards
  • Data analysis skills coupled with report writing and chart development abilities
  • Experience in statistical inference and process capability studies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Streck is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance area. This position will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and improvement of Streck’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with appropriate FDA, ISO, and other international requirements.  Under general supervision, this position provides day-to-day quality assurance support across all departments at Streck.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the coordination of the internal audit program by planning, scheduling, auditing and maintaining required records.
  • Participate in planning and coordinating the supplier audit program; also conducting audits
  • Provide guidance and ensure corporate compliance with FDA and ISO quality system requirements.
  • Participate in managing, monitoring and coordinating the CAPA system and maintaining records. Create and distribute monitoring reports where appropriate.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of US and applicable international Quality System regulations to ensure that expert advice and appropriate technical support on all quality related matters are provided to the company.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or science-related discipline.
  • Two to four years of related work experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Two to four years of experience in quality system auditing.
  • Quality auditing certification preferred
