Quality Program Administrator

AAA Life has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Program Administrator. This position is responsible for the administration of AAA Life’s quality programs. This includes the Direct Sales Unit quality and continuous improvement program and the Corporate Service Recovery and Complaint program. They are responsible for identifying trends, recommending resolutions and changes.

Position Responsibilities

Quality and Continuous Improvement Program Administration
Oversees the DSU call quality monitoring program through developing and maintaining the process review criteria.

Analyzes data. Conducts monitoring of designated Agent calls.  Provides coaching to associates to ensure desired call quality. Based on quality review of recorded and live calls, provides recommendations on training content.

Consistently looks for process improvement opportunities.

Conducts process audits of work to ensure adherence to established procedures. Provides reporting to Managers on results and delivers developmental feedback to advocates as needed.

Service Recovery and Complaint Program Administration
Works collaboratively within the team to understand and analyze the member opportunities and solutions that have genuine impact on the member experience.

Provides status reports to Managers on coaching interventions, and recommends actions needed to resolve the issue.

Training Administration
Promotes quality service awareness and performance improvement throughout the Direct Sales Unit.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating in continual improvement of a Quality System
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or a sales environment preferred
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ACCESS, PowerPoint, Excel
    • Ability to coach and influence others
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • LOMA, Associate of Customer Service designation preferred
    • CSSGB preferred (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt)
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.

Job Description:

HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major fire truck / fire apparatus company to place a Quality Engineer (Vehicles / Trucks). This role is responsible for facilitating and supporting the creation of repeatable, reliable processes which lead to the reduction/removal of defects throughout the value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Promote the expectation that team members will consider the impact of their work/actions on others and make deliberate decisions to act in ways which prevent rework or constraints on the process. The Quality Engineer is a leader in this regard.
  • Facilitate creation of systems and processes which enhance the team’s ability to meet customer expectations (identification of standards, creating of buy/sell agreements, audit processes, etc.)
  • Provide leadership in Root Cause Analysis, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Production Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Practical Problem Solving, etc.
  • Act as mediator when needed to clarify customer expectations or interpret standards
  • Prepare formal programs for dissemination to the team
  • Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to prepare gauges and determine inspection frequencies
  • Work with operations and materials leadership to develop repeatable, reliable processes
  • Perform data entry, analysis and sharing/explanation of same
  • Design, review and interpret reports
  • Perform audits of new and existing processes
  • Document writing, control and management
  • Initiate non-conforming material documents for supplier quality issues
  • Assist in the execution of activities which promote continuous improvement and protect customers
  • Conduct training, information sharing and orientation sessions
  • Lead by example regarding safety and acting in the best interests of the team
  • Provide coverage for other technicians as needed
  • Act as the Quality Manager in their absence

Quality Technician

Location of Position: Omaha

Position Summary                            

Creates and maintains facility procedural and production Quality documentation and administrative activities.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Utilizing strong written communication skills, creates and maintains all Oatey procedural and production documentation while supporting and documenting changes to customer products as needed.  40%*
  2. Perform internal ISO audits on plant processes, write audit reports, and present and store findings within our ISO structure.  20%*
  3. Utilizes problem-solving skills to assist and support the Quality Department in identifying and implementing short and long term corrective actions.   Researches problems as assigned and assists in developing solutions.  10%*
  4.  Provides support to the Operations Teams by generating reports and executing assigned data input and data collecting functions as required.  10%
  5. Provide assigned administrative tasks and back up support to include functions and activities such as Engineering Change Notice activities, filing, & data entry.  10%
  6. Facilitate, assist with implementation, record keeping in compliance with ISO standards. Maintain good housekeeping in lab, office and storage areas.  Maintain and keep organized all QA files & documentation for easy reference and ISO9001 documentation compliance.  5%

Knowledge and Experience

Quality Engineer

Opportunity in Norfolk, NE.

Experience: 0-3 years

The position will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day activities that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining various QA and Lab databases
  • Develop and improve quality systems (PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Control Plan, Visual Aids, Global Visual Standards, Work Instructions, Corrective and Preventive Actions, as well as other Quality systems) to maintain compliance
  • Responsible for Managing and assisting various QMS systems ( Management Review, PPAP,APQP, MSA, etc.).
  • Assuring proper methods of testing are met according to internal and third party standards.
  • Perform capability analysis aimed at variation reduction

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelors in Engineering or related field of study and will have:

  • ASQ certified Quality Engineer
  • Lead or internal auditor experience
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
